Kythe Foundation ASA – Survivor Fundraiser

By Ethan Cua, 12NBR

“Kythe BSM would like to thank all of the volunteers and participants who supported our first Zoom fundraiser ‘Survivor’. With your overwhelming help and support, Kythe BSM has managed to raise over Php 10,000. All proceeds will be used to provide further assistance to ensure the health and safety of the frontliners strongly involved in the COVID-19 pandemic.

We would also like to give special thanks to Matthew Chua for serving as host, and helping us create challenges for the participants. Thank you all once again for your support during these trying times! We hope that the BSM community will continue to support Kythe in future endeavors.”

One Million Lights ASA – Emergency Relief

In the absence of an opportunity to organise a final distribution of solar lights this school year, the OML ASA Team have agreed to use their excess funds to help those in need right now. They are providing Php 17,000 to support the provision of emergency relief goods to communities in rural areas affected by Covid-19. OML partner, Arthur Rodrigues, has fed over 1,500 families to date, and this money will go a long way to helping.
