Welcome back to the start of Term 3 to our returning families and a very warm welcome to our new families. In true BSM style the next 10 weeks are set to be action packed with a range of learning opportunities and community events.
For our Year 11 and 13 students the next few weeks will see the culmination of two years of hard work as they sit their final IGCSE and IB examinations. On Thursday and Friday, we celebrated many Year 11 and 13 achievements, along with a few amusing moments, and wished them all the best as they begin their study leave. For most of these students their first exams begin next week and we wish them every success with this.
Teachers are available in their normal lesson slots if students need additional support with their revision; they are also welcome to use the LRC as a quiet study space. If you are the parent of a Year 11 or 13 student, please encourage them to get plenty of sleep, eat a healthy diet and also to maintain some exercise. These activities, along with a well-planned revision programme, which they should have been working on for many weeks now, will help support examination success.
On Saturday, we look forward to welcoming you to our annual Summer Fete, organised by our wonderful Parent Teacher Association. This group have been working tirelessly for the last few weeks to ensure that this is a fun filled opportunity for the community to get together with activities for everyone in the family. Please do support this event – see you there!
Next week is Week A.
