Well here we are, 16 weeks in and the end of a very busy and productive Term 1.
Well done to our new parents, you made it unscathed – I suspect you are feeling part of the furniture now and have connected with new friends, settled into your new roles at work or home and have a new set of youngsters coming round to the house to play and hang out.
To our ‘vintage’ parents, here we are again and doesn’t it whizz by so fast? I hope you have enjoyed this term as much as I have and had opportunities to connect with new families and teachers alike. We sure appreciate the stability and experience you bring to our community. Thank you x
As we head off into the Christmas period, I am reminded of the importance of family. For some, this is an exciting time, jumping on planes and heading off into often much cooler climates than we have right now. For others it is a time for gathering together celebrating the year gone by. There are also those who have had a year that has been tough, bringing all time lows and challenging our resilience. Whoever you are and wherever you find yourselves, you made it! A Merry Christmas to each of you.
I will keep this short and sweet – over the next three weeks, please spend time with those you love, cherish the moments of laughter, forgive and be grateful for the 4th pair of socks you may receive!
It has been a pleasure writing each week and sharing my thoughts with you, thank you to those who have read and embraced my weekly challenges.
And all that remains to be said is Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year to one and all.
First week back is Week A.
